A lot of my artistic life is on hold for the moment. My hope was to premiere While Supplies Last, the show connected to my MFA thesis, here in Austin with the support of the Rude Mechs at the end of July. Whether it will be safe and responsible to have a live performance at that time still feels like a question mark. The plan was then to take WSL back to Philly as part of the Fringe Festival in September. Maybe that all works out, but more likely everything will get pushed back for who knows how long. I thought this American Theatre article on audience reluctance to returning to theatre was sobering.
In the meantime, if you'd like to be in touch here are two ways:
1. Message me if you'd like to read my thesis about Jewish masculinity and the American toy industry! I would be happy to share it with curious friends.
2. I'm part of a team commissioned by UT to do some documentary theatre work around COVID-19. If you or someone you know would be open to an anonymous interview, please reach out. I've been talking with folks in the medical field, the food and entertainment industries, airline workers, and more.
