I will be dancing improvisationally with a assortment of other movers and music makers at the H-O-T Series this Friday at 8pm
Thank you for coming out to Go Long Big Softie and for supporting my work during this years festival! Check out a great review here.
I want to send out a general congratulations to any of the other artists who had shows in the Fringe this year. I managed to squeeze in 12 other performances. Special thanks go to FringeArts and their new $5 artist rush. What is up next? Well, I am teaching a workshop over at University of Pennsylvania. The class is full at a whopping 25 students, but there is a wait list you can put your name on. I had a great time teaching the first session on Friday and I am looking forward to class this week. I am also going back into rehearsals for Nobody's Home to prepare to take it to the New Orleans Fringe and tour it around some households in Philadelphia and NYC. Get in touch if you might be interested in hosting Nobody's Home in your home sometime between November 1st and 16th. Finally, I will be revisiting my punk/drunk/monk experiments for an audition with New York Live Arts' Fresh Tracks. Again, thank you everyone for your support. See you in October! More press previews. Here and here.
"The Groundswell Players promise to bring the house down with their men’s group bromance Go Long Big Softie. (Literally: the Torrent Collective venue will be demolished with weeks of the last performance). This exploration of contemporary masculinity boasts a strong creative team: FringeArts LAB fellow Mason Rosenthal and Pig Iron grad Scott Shepard perform and 2012 Fringe star Charlotte Ford directs." |
