Last week I closed Let the Dog See the Rabbit, a piece with Lightning Rod Special looking at looking at animals. I had such a great time working on this challenging work of performance, and in the end was quite happy with the world we created. This was in no small part thanks to my incredible ensemble and supportive LRS co-directors.
I scheduled myself two days (sort of) to decompress, and I spent those two days sleeping, thinking, and recovering from the effects of bronchitis and physical/emotional exhaustion.
Now it is back to work on Cones (a solo show for Solow Fest that I am directing) with Morgan FitzPatrick Andrews and The Medium Theatre Company. I am also getting back into Ursula Invents Old Woman. That is another work that I am co-creating with Marcia Ferguson and MJ Kaufman to take to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
I'm also getting up at 6:00AM every morning (!!!) to head out to AP Schalick High School in NJ to teach a a week long workshop on devising original theatre.
So all in all, I am busy with lots of exciting things coming up, so stay tuned!
