I've graduated with my MFA in Performance as Public Practice from UT and I'm now on the teaching job hunt with the hope of finding something that could take me back to Philadelphia, and closer to Lightning Rod Special.
I have plans to adapt my MFA written thesis into a shorter article that I could submit to performance journals. And as part of my Rude Fusion residency, Paul Kruse and I are reworking While Supplies Last (the solo performance that made up the practice component of my thesis) into How Do You Jew?, a series of video shorts where toys teach lessons in Jewish American masculinity.
Lightning Rod Special is participating in the 2020 Orchard Project's Liveness Lab, and just this week, will begin a new Digital Performance Gym to start brainstorming a new project in digital space. We're also launching an anti-racist reading group among the company members.
