Previewing some of Go Long Big Softie at Martha Graham Cracker's Made in Philadelphia Festival tonight!
Tickets here. I'm starting to run out of Go Long Big Softie puns. Check out this Philly Post article on Go Long Big Softie and my collaborator Scott Sheppard. More press to come, including a radio spot. Also, did someone say Go Long Big Softie ice cream flavors? What!? More on that later ... Go Long Big Softie has a picture in Philadelphia Style magazine and a mention in Phindie courtesy of Jess Conda. Look for upcoming interviews with the FringeArts Blog and Philadelphia's City Paper.
We will also be showing some material from the piece at Monday evening's BRAT Shit Crazy Fringe Preview and Martha Graham Cracker's Made In Philadelphia Festival. Check out the postcard design for Go Long Big Softie by artist Meredith Bentley.
Tickets are now on sale here. Check out this extreme trailer made up of footage from Punkmonk and Drunkmonk. My brother created this for me and it is outrageous.
I am looking forward to diving into more performance research for whatever all of this stuff will become in early October. This is an exciting new thing for me. I'm planning on taking a few performance pieces I have made here in Philadelphia on the road!
First one is Nobody's Home. I am currently looking for a couple of Philadelphia households interested in hosting performances of Nobody's Home sometime in the first 10 days of October. The show is a blast and is easy to set up and break down. It requires only a average to large sized room with a bed. We provide the rest. If you are interested in bringing Nobody to you, please contact me through the contact section of this website. Nobody may also be making an appearance in the New Orleans Fringe Festival and possibly a stop in Allamuchy, NJ. New York City and Chicago are also options, so NYC and Chicago friends if you are interested in hosting get in touch. I've been hard at work on Go Long Big Softie which will premiere in September as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Tickets are available online here. GLBS may also find its way to NOLA in late November, so stay tuned! |
